Happy Fall! Just wanted to send a quick update as time is just flying around here. Halloween was a blast for us. Luke LOVES candy, so it was a big holiday for him. He really wanted to be a puma for Halloween, but it is pretty hard to find a puma costume for toddlers - let me tell you...they aren't in high demand. So, he settled on being a cow. Really, I don't think he cared as long as candy was involved. Andrew was a shark and it was so funny to see him scooting around the floor with his head bobbing up and down. He looked just like he was swimming. He has kept me very busy these days and the baby gate went up last weekend when he started crawling. He loves to go from sitting to crawling and back. He is a wiggle worm and we had to quickly master the art of changing his diapers tooshie-up. Andrew still only takes 20-30 minute naps during the day, so we spend a lot of time playing on the floor and walking around the house (my back could use a break). He loves being outdoors and LOVES our dog. It is funny, we definitely have love/hate relationships going on in the house. Bailey loves Luke as he carries food around that is just the right height to steal. Luke does not like this, and therefore, often scolds her. Andrew, on the other hand, loves Bailey, but likes to pull her hair. Therefore, Bailey avoids walking anywhere near him. Andrew also loves Luke, but although Luke is very nice to his brother, he doesn't exactly appreciate him taking all of his toys (and chewing on them). He quickly reminded me the other day as I was painfully trying to remove my hair from Andrew's fingers and mouth... "that is just how babies learn, mommy." Funny comments like this seem to flow from his mouth so he entertains me throughout the day. Today I was trying to tell him today about Christmas coming soon and all about Santa (trying to bribe him, of course to be good). He told me "Mommy, I don't remember that Santa lady." He really likes going to school one day a week and I love seeing the art projects that he brings home. His favorite thing to do these days is play downstairs with his daddy (watching Dora and Diego top the list too). Hope you all are doing well and that we hear from you soon.
